Please note: 12 Month vouchers are Not refundable, (as per consumer law) but may be extended or resold to a 2nd party
As at 1st January 2020
1) Voucher is valid for 12 Months, but may be extended for a further 12 Months at a further cost of 10% (from date of payment)
2) All booked and paid clients with a valid FISHING VOUCHER must confirm with the skipper via e, mail or what’s app at least 48 hours or before if they are still available or if the charter is still scheduled for that date, venue and launch time.
3) Your voucher must be signed by the person booking the charter for Insurance and T&C were read. Then e, mail to the charter company dassencharters@gmail.com (No signature no charter)
4) You must be in possession of a valid fishing permit by law. www.fishing.dffe.gov.za
5) No hard sole shoes allowed as it could damage the special anti-skied floor
6) No gumboots or waders at all. (If you fall overboard you go straight down)
7) The skippers word is final, in terms of safety.
8) If you arrive at the slip without consulting the charter operator, no claim or refund will be given as the 48 hour confirmation rule is applied.
9) Any person throwing anything overboard will have to pay a R200 penalty that will go to SANCOB.
10) Expired 12 month vouchers can be extended for another year at a cost of 10%
11) If you are later than 30 minutes without contacting the skipper the boat leaves. (voucher considered used)
12) We do not take cash on the day. Prior arrangements can be made 48 hours in advance.
13) Smoking of cigarettes is permitted, but not in the cabin.
14) Charter can be cancelled by Skipper on the day due to bad weather or unforeseen reasons. Voucher still valid for a later date.
15) You may bring your own fishing gear with if pre-arranged with the skipper. Space always an issue.
16) Visitors board the boat at their own risk & no claim can be held against the charter company or crew.
17) Tampering with electronics or boat controls is not permitted.
18) All fish caught by you is yours according to DAFF law. Selling of fish is illegal.
19) You Voucher may be transferred to a second party by notifying the Skipper.
20) If clients are behaving in an irresponsible manner, the Skipper will return to base and the Voucher deemed used.
